CLASS Visits: -To schedule a class visit, please use this form at least 48 hours prior to your desired visit: Sign Up for a Library Class Visit. Please DO NOT send students to the library with a pass.
-Once you have a class visit scheduled, please set a time to meet with me to plan the project (either in person or via email/Google Docs). Utilization of the library is most effective when both teachers understand the objectives and requirements (i.e. what types of sources to use).
-If you have a class scheduled and cannot be here, please reschedule.
-Please check thelibrary calendar to see if the library will be closed for special events. I will be teaching a class 10th period, so the library will be closed. Also, the library is closed 7th period for the librarian’s lunch and library management. However, this may change depending on class scheduling needs.
LAPTOP Cart: Please complete theLaptop Cart form to reserve this cart for your classroom. In addition, check the library calendar for availability.
LIBRARY Code of Conduct L-et’s all respect the library. Please DO NOT eat or drink in the library. Phones are PROHIBITED. I-f you are collaborating with a group, speak softly so only the person/group can hear you. B-e gentle with the equipment/furniture to keep them usable and welcoming. Clean up after yourselves. R-aise your hand for assistance. If something is not working, please notify the teacher librarian. A-lways follow the SCHOOL RULES. Please DO NOT visit any unauthorized websites. R-eturn any supplies, chairs, materials, or other items moved to their proper place. Books you are not checking out may be returned at the circulation desk or on the designated cart. Y-elling, playing and misbehaving are UNACCEPTABLE! Enter and exit the library quietly.
